For the "big hunger" the DINEA is of course nothing ... we had tried it before and found it bad. BUT: If you are looking for a tasty snack (salt, goulash soup, etc.) or if you are looking for something sweet with coffee or just want to drink a Kölsch, this is the place for you. No long waiting times, everything clean and reasonable prices. Here you can buy a piece of cake for the kids. I haven't been to Cologne for a long time. It made me all the more happy to read that there is still the nice offer "1 Kölsch and 1 meatball for 3.00 euros". For me, a clear recommendation to take a break from shopping. P.s .: And you eat a clever lobster cutlet or schnitzel "at d´r aunt" and not in DINEA ;-)

I had breakfast there today and have only vomited since 5 p.m. !!! Break all the eggs out and it just won't stop! I just can't recommend it. Sorry

We were there on February 6th, 2020 around 1 p.m. 1 x hunter's schnitzel with fries, the schnitzel tasteless and the fries cold and hard. 1 x Krusren roast with sauerkraut and bread dumplings. The dumplings were ping pong size rubber balls saw the crust roast and you could taste that it had been in the display for a long time, not to mention sauerkraut. 2 x chicken breasts where the seasoning has been forgotten and very dry. CONCLUSION 11.99 or 9.99 € for the chicken breast is effectively too expensive. Rather pay one euro more and eat reasonable food in another restaurant. Or, alternatively, go to a snack bar in the surrounding area, where it is significantly better in terms of price ratio and quality.

In the Dinea in Cologne's Kaufhof on Hohestrasse you can eat very well, especially the breakfast buffet is highly recommended.

It is very cozy here. The food is not too expensive. You do not have to wait forever and the service is friendly. There are many different cold drinks.

Our top spot to eat every time we visit Germany from the UK. A very wide choice of high quality food and it's never ridiculously busy. Always plenty of seats and little trolleys (IKEA style) that allow you to push three trays around at once. Never disappoints, especially at Christmas time.

It is a restaurant in the 3rd floor, in the Galeria Kaufhof. There is a big variety of meals, include the typical potato with sausage. Its no sooo expensive.

The employees of this self-service restaurant, on the third floor of the Kaufhof, are friendly and attentive. The meals that are offered are just above the Raststätte level, but honesty also tells me that I have nothing to do with the so-called gutbürgerliche küche. Apart from having a drink now and then, I don't go there anymore.

Great tasting food and super easy for an lunch break meal. Although a little more on the expensive side for a casual working lunch I would highly recommend for family’s and all ages. A meal with a drink and dessert will cost on average around 15€

Tasty, lunch as on the photo 21 euros. Nearby draft beer 3,5 € for 0,5 liters. The standard second hotter is 11 euros, and it's just a bunch of food.
